      <description>&lt;p&gt;Many times it&amp;rsquo;s not practical to modify the IP addresses of every individual VM as they are configured.  Luckily VMware has provided a way to bulk upload IP addresses.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From an SRM server, open a command prompt and change the working directory to:  c:Program FilesVMwareVMware vCenter Site Recovery Managerbin&lt;/p&gt;

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Once virtual replication appliances have been paired and configured, the virtual machines can be replicated.  Click the hanger next to the VM to be replicated, click &amp;ldquo;All vSphere Replication Actions&amp;rdquo; then click &amp;ldquo;Configure Replication&amp;rdquo; &lt;strong&gt;NOTE:&lt;/strong&gt; VMware is phasing out the C# client for vCenter, but hasn&amp;rsquo;t yet.  In order to do SRM Configurations you still need to use this client which is why many of my examples are still using it.  The act of replicating the VM I&amp;rsquo;ve chosen to use the web client because it adds extra features that the C# client is missing.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Running a test recovery is an important step to take before having an actual disaster.  One of the most valuable pieces of VMware Site Recovery Manager is that you can non-disruptively test the configurations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Find the recovery plan to test in the SRM module of the vSphere Client.  Click the &amp;ldquo;Test&amp;rdquo; button.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Storage - Either storage arrays with replication, or 2 or more Virtual Replication Appliances&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It&amp;rsquo;s worth noting that SSO, vCenter, and SRM could all be installed on the same machine, but you&amp;rsquo;ll need this many instances of these components.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
